THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust eCommerce platforms, production-quality APIs, workflows, and tools. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership, mentorship, and support to a team of talented engineers while fostering a culture of high-performance, innovation, and continuous improvement. Candidates with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with our Australian internal stakeholders will be highly regarded.

 JOB DESCRIPTION

• Design, implement, and maintain dependable Adobe Commerce headless platforms, production-quality APIs, workflows, and tools.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support to a team of engineers, fostering their growth and professional development.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps and Project/Delivery Teams to plan and execute initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of technical solutions into the overall project strategy.
• Utilise your extensive leadership experience to design and develop application solution architecture that meets business requirements and aligns with best practices.
• Balance your time between developing business requirements and leading solutions, while also providing coaching and guidance to other team members.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and advancements, incorporating relevant improvements into the development process.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 7 years of technical leadership experience, demonstrating your ability to lead and guide a team towards successful project outcomes.
• Strong PHP/React skills with a proven track record of at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in headless Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 software development.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and a solid understanding of cloud-based architecture and best practices.
• A positive attitude, collaborative nature, and willingness to contribute across all areas of engineering, fostering a cohesive and supportive team environment.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, allowing you to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices, ensuring a streamlined and efficient development and deployment process.
